    Become a Data Scientist

In order to become a Data Scientist, follow 3 steps:

2. Enroll in our Data Scientist boot camp to prepare for the ICCP certificate

This program is intended for working professionals from any discipline or a background that satisfy the math and statistics minimal requirements. These requirements include an advanced math level and/or a basic data analytics knowledge, or an intermediate level in statistics.

If you do not satisfy the Data Science Boot Camp prerequisites, you need to email us at director@dslcc.org to schedule a placement test following which you will be placed in the appropriate math and statistics courses.

A multidisciplinary cohort with students coming from different backgrounds and different fields can only enrich class discussions and powerful interactions. 

The Data Scientist is by definition a multidisciplinary analyst with expertise in a variety of areas that require an assortment of tools and technologies and that include a great deal of data management and data analytics.
